Disenchanted Princess

At first glance it looks whimsical and cute, with a contemplative palette in soft blue tones and soft, penciled-looking spaces.  Then you notice that the background plants look sort of like toes, and there are spiky bits here and there in strategic places throughout the picture - the rose, the sleeve, the tiny horns in just the right place to create an impression of subtle menace and disquiet.  The overall impression is just incredibly beautiful and weird, and I love it.  Thank you for sharing it.
